AGF 132 -Only Fantasms: An Interview with Stephen Patrick

This time on Around Grandfather Fire we interview Stephen Patrick. Stephen shares with us a brief history of Spiritualism in the Rochester, NY area, and gives insight into the different ways Spiritualism has come to us in modern times. We go over his experiences of Spiritualism in Rochester, NY, what mediumship is like, and how folks can explore working with spirits in this way.

Stephen was kind enough to share with us his experiences of Santa Muerto as a Santa Muertero, where it dovetails with his work as a medium, and separating the depictions of Her, Her followers, and Her way from the sensationalized media that depicts them. As part of this and his ongoing mediumship work, he also explores his herbalism work, where it intersects, and how.

Stephen is a Spiritualist, who shares his gift of mediumship with others in order that they might develop and progress on their own spiritual journey. He has been a Santa Muertero for over fifteen years; and with his knowledge of herbalism, Stephen works closely with the spirits of the dead to bring healing and balance to those in need.

Stephen is also a local historian and is currently working on researching and documenting the history of the Spiritualist movement in Rochester, NY.
